Encryption
If a laptop is stolen from a car, can someone read every client file on it?
Firewall and remote access
Open doors on the network, exposed Remote Desktop, and remote-control apps nobody remembers installing.
Passwords and accounts
Password rules, account lockout, screen lock, who has admin rights, and old accounts that should be closed.
Microsoft 365
Whether two-step sign-in is enforced, which users haven't set it up, and how many people hold admin access.
Backups and people
We go through backups, Wi-Fi, former employees and phishing awareness together, since software can't check those.

Questions owners ask
Will the checkup change or break anything?
No. The checkup only reads settings and writes a report. Nothing is installed or changed. If you want fixes afterward, I quote them first and only start once you approve.
Do you look at our files or email?
No. The checkup reads security settings only, never documents, email contents or client records. Your report goes only to the person you name on the permission form.
How long does it take?
About 15 minutes per computer, plus a few minutes for Microsoft 365. Most offices of five computers are done in under two hours, and staff can keep working.
Can you do it remotely?
Yes. I can run the checkup over a scheduled remote session, and the walkthrough works over a video call.
We already have antivirus. Do we still need this?
Antivirus is one of the 24 checks. It doesn't cover a stolen laptop, a reused password, a missing update or a former employee's account that still works. The checkup finds those.
Do you check Macs?
The checkup covers Windows PCs and Microsoft 365 today. If your office uses Macs, mention it in your message and I'll tell you what I can check.
